An Overview of Our Services

We offer comprehensive, community-based therapeutic services to children, adolescents and adults with mental health and behavioral needs. All mental health and behavioral services are billed directly through the client’s insurance; we never use waiver dollars for services provided. Treatment needs may involve:

Past trauma
Anxiety
Depression
Anger
Problems related to self-image
Delinquency
Sexual offenses
Adjustment to disability
Residential and workplace behaviors
Other concerns that detract from quality of life

Assessment

Comprehensive diagnostic assessment will gather historical information, clarify diagnosis, identify strengths and assist the individual/family in developing goals based on their stated needs.
Targeted assessments are available regarding functioning level, residential and vocational needs, and analysis of behaviors.

Counseling Services

Individual and group therapy services provided by licensed staff, which can be provided in the office, workplace, home or community setting.
Development of comprehensive treatment plan incorporating all services provided to treat mental health symptoms and behavioral concerns.
Session frequency is based on individual needs identified in the assessment.
Groups available are based on need but can include anger management, self-concept, social skills, trauma, and communication skills and boundaries.

Psychiatric Services

Psychiatric Certified Nurse Practitioners specialize in mental and behavioral health with IDD and Dual Diagnosis experience and training.
Medication management and symptom monitoring.
Collaboration with Counselor, TBS worker, SSA, County Boards, Residential/Day Providers, Guardians, and other members of the client’s treatment team.
Pharmacogenetic testing.

Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS)

Traditionally referred to as mental health case management, our TBS specialists work on day to day behavioral skills in the present and can serve as an advocate for clients who are unable to advocate for themselves.
Provided individually or in a group setting by staff trained to work with individuals experiencing mental health symptoms.
Focuses on symptom management, skill building and coping mechanisms.
Coordination provided with community services (county boards and agencies, day programs, residential services, employment services).
Focus on life skills, crisis prevention and social, emotional, stress management, anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.
Monitor symptoms and progress towards goals.
Training of support systems including direct staff on specific client triggers, deescalation techniques and interventions in client specific mental health treatment plan.
